Today's technology makes it easier to coordinate team collaboration. The technologies in this section serve to facilitate simultaneous work on projects, inform individual team members of their assigned deliverables and increase accountability through transparency.
 
-VYEW.com is a collaborative workspace website that allows users to draw and/or upload images and text onto a screen that is viewable real-time by all participants who are invited to join the session.
-I guess it could come in handy if you were unable to describe an abstract visual concept that required graphical representation. Personally, I such a bad artist that I'd almost certainly be better off painting with words…
-This service is neat even if you don't find it useful.

-There are tons of sites that compare ticket prices across airline carriers.
-Be mindful that sometimes the best prices can be found on a carrier's homepage and that most comparative websites exclude low cost carriers and at least some major carriers.
-You can typically expect to be offered package deals as well (hotels, rental cars, etc.).

-I'm not sure how you like to spend your vacations, so I won't suggest too many options, but I've consistently had fun touring US and European cities on the breakthrough self-balancing two wheel "pedestrian transporter" called the Segway.
 
-Be warned: Internet job search sites such as the heavily advertised Careerbuilder.com and Monster.com feed lots of junk job offers to applicants.

-I have heard of the sites working in some cases, but they tend not to offer very high quality or competitive jobs at the entry level. Clearly, my reaction to these two sites is based on my own anecdotal experiences and those of my friends.

-The one, little known bright spot on the job search site landscape is called GloCap.com.

-This firm specializes in placing qualified candidates in high profile management, Venture Capital, Private Equity and Finance jobs. They're mostly looking for 2+ years experience but I've heard very positive reviews from a couple of MBAs.
 
-Inside the computer science department at most major universities there will be at least one (often several) undergraduate or graduate student "whiz kid" programmers who are be willing to take on website design or other programming projects on the side.
-They are so often hounded by classmates to do "pro bono" or "as a friend" jobs that they lower their expectations for compensation. You can generally buy student talent at a huge discount. (But it's better to pay them the full amount and then some. ;-) )
-Typically the best ways to access these students are to email several senior members of the computer science department (whose email addresses will be available on the University website) or to post flyers around the campus dorms and computer science buildings.
